Resident "Old Man Of Rock", Mark became hooked on metal at a young age and remembers buying W.A.S.P's debut album, just because the cover "looked quite cool". A veteran of many a gig, Mark's cherry was broken by Queen on the Live Magic tour at Knebworth, since then he still buzzes from live shows. Metal is his passion and he gets just as excited about new bands as much as his stalwart old school favourites, and he is quick to point out he saw most of these bands that have reformed first time round.

An English graduate from Exeter University, Mark's student days revolved around the seminal Seattle movement, although at heart he is a full out thrasher... with a soft spot for proper 80's glam. As a freelance writer Mark has seen his pieces appear in numerous publications from Total Guitar to The Daily Mail, as well as a number of online websites.

Mark is a keen, yet average guitarist and describes himself as Captain Pentatonic. He is happily married and has two sons who both play a mean air guitar and are responding well to their metal music brainwashing.

Mark has been with OneMetal since the beginning, if it wasn't for his hard work and dedication the site would never have made it as far as it has. A good friend, and a committed metal head.
