Ian Livingstone at the Showroom Cinema

Ian Livingstone co-founded the iconic Games Workshop, launched Dungeons & Dragons in Europe, edited White Dwarf magazine and in 2002 he received a BAFTA Special Award for his outstanding contribution to the interactive entertainment industry.

With Steve Jackson, he wrote the first of the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks which have sold over 16 million copies in 23 languages. He is the Creative Director of computer games company Eidos, the name behind the Tomb Raider games.

As part of Sheffield’s Off the Shelf Festival of Words, Ian Livingstone will be talking about his work and the Fighting Fantasy series on Monday night in the Showroom Cinema at 7.00PM

Off the Shelf is a dynamic, distinctive and diverse festival of words which features 200 events including readings, debates, workshops, poetry, storytelling, readers’ events, walks, talks, community events, a programme for children and young people and more.
