The plot felt clunky, slightly repetitive and takes more liberties than the previous films. Does not come close to Dark Knight’s intricate and immersive quality. The “twist” ending, I may not have known what it was, but I assumed it was coming. Bane was good, a difficult character choice but the story worked out really well.
Its by far a bad film, I think with the other two films setting the bar so high, Rises had no chance. Everything with Alfred and Wayne was awesome, quite probably the only scenes I felt some emotional investment of. I’ll definitely need to watch it again.

As someone who is not a “fanboy” I did find the plots and characters a bit confusing at times, which made the film seem slow from about 3/4 way through. I’m also terrible at remembering previous films, so I probably should have recapped beforehand. I’d say the best bits happened at the end for sure. Love Alfred as a character :) he truly cares for Bruce. Bane is a truly scary guy, but not sure if they got the voice/accent right. It could have been more sinister. Aside from that nit picking, it’s a great movie!
