Hollywood legend Christopher Lee has released a metal concept album.
The 87 year old star, known for his roles in movies like “Lord Of The Rings”, “Star Wars” and “Dracula” has released “Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross”, a symphonic metal album that tells the story of King Charlemagne, the First Holy Roman Emperor – and direct ancestor of Christopher Lee himself.
As OneMetal previously reported, Charlemagne is a concept album with original words and symphonic metal music, and sees Lee singing, chanting and delivering lines of dialogue against a background of a full orchestra, choir, two metal bands, and several guest vocalists.
The album is available on the Cadiz Music label.
Fantastic. I hope it’s as interesting, complex, and bizarre as I think it’ll be.
I for one am actually looking forward to hearing it.

This could be excellent or embarrassing. Either way, I think it’ll an “unmissable” listen…
