Some call it the sport of kings; others consider it to be the purest form of ancient combat. Now mainstream infiltrating pop-punks You Me At Six have immortalised thumb wrestling with a new iPhone app themed around their current album release ‘Hold Me Down.’
The ‘Hold Me Down’ game features unique, intuitive controls that mimic real life thumb wrestling. You can test your skills against a computer opponent, battle your friends on a single iPhone or use Bluetooth networking for the ultimate dual iPhone face-off.
The game is also integrated with the OpenFeint platform so players can accumulate points by completing challenges against the computer. The more points you get, the more chance you have of receiving exclusive You Me At Six goodies! There is also a global leaderboard to check your progress against other players. Best of all, you can play as each and every member of the band. So if you’ve ever wanted to take on the world as Josh, pitch Max and Chris against each other in a six-string thumb war, or see Matt and Dan in a rhythm section showdown, here’s your chance!
The app only costs £1.19. Just visit the iTunes App Store and download it here:
