OneMetal.com INTERVIEW:
Skin

BIZARRE COVERThis month’s issue of Bizarre Magazine is hard to miss. With her tiny frame, bright pink hair and big attitude, Cover girl Skin is a rising star on the International fetish scene. With the charisma and passion she radiates, it’s inevitable you will all be hearing of her soon. We headed to Whiskey Mist, to drink cocktails and talk fetish. Introducing Skin…

OneMetalHi! Tell me a little about yourself.

SkinI’m a 22 year old, slightly eccentric and very free spirited model who travels pretty much constantly and is mum to a miniature pinscher. I think myself as very lucky and I couldn’t be happier doing what I do.

OneMetalThat’s what we like to hear! Why and when did you start to model?

Skin:I had always wanted to model but never thought I had the right body shape and I didn’t realise that there was such a thing as “fetish model”. Once I realised I could model and that I seemed to be good at it there was no stopping me!

OneMetal… How did you discover the Torture Garden?

SkinMy friend took me around the same time I started modeling for an alt girl website, and I was hooked! Everyone there was so accepting of each other and I just loved the atmosphere… That and getting to see all the gorgeous latex clad ladies!

OneMetalYou started off initially on alternative sites such as Gods Girls and Deviant Nation. How did you move from alt porn to fetish? Do you intend to continue with your alt work?

SkinI do still model for alt sites, I just shot again for burning angel in fact!

I like to dip my finger in a little of everything, from fashion to fetish, glamour to alt girl…. I like trying new things and I get bored easily so I have to mix it up,

OneMetalGood answer! What do you think it takes to be a good fetish model? Do you think it’s necessary to be a fetishist to work in the fetish scene?

SkinI do think that is a very important aspect to fetish modelling, there’s nothing worse than hearing a girl wearing latex doing nothing but complain about how tight it is, how sweaty she’s getting- that’s all part of the fun! And if you don’t feel good wearing latex and you just do it because someone else does it then your doing or for the wrong reasons.

OneMetalI agree. I think that when a girl is excited about what she’s doing, it emanates into the shot- and projects her sexuality. It makes the shot more intimate and ‘real’.

SkinYes, you should be able to tell that the model is enjoying herself!

OneMetalWhat do you think it takes to be a good fetish model?

SkinDedication and not taking yourself too seriously. =)

OneMetalBased on that, or for any other reason, are there any models on the scene that you admire?

SkinThere are soooo many! Bianca Beauchamp, Ancilla Tilia, Mosh …And you, duh!

OneMetalHahaha, aaaw, your just trying to flatter me. You don’t worry, I’m going write nice things about you either way! Haha.

SkinNo! You are a fantastic model! And don’t cut out that I said that! Haha!!

OneMetal* kisses*

OneMetalBack to work! What’s your fetish?

SkinI have so many! Latex, Shibari, being roughly handled. I’m a submissive so I like doing what I’m told and feeling like I’m not in control =)

But what turns me on the most is trying things I’ve never tried before (she winks.)

OneMetalIt’s pretty much been a life aim for you to do the Bizarre Cover. How did that feel, and what’s next??

SkinIt felt amazing! Definitely something I will always remember for the rest of my life hehe! Now I’m just going to continue working hard an see what life is going to throw at me next! I’m planning on moving to LA in a few months!

OneMetalWe’ll be very sad to see you go.

SkinI will miss you lots but I’ll still be coming to London regularly!!

OneMetalMost exciting shoots?

SkinUmmm… My first pro shoots in LA, doing a big group shoot in the desert, and the Bizarre shoot (of course).

OneMetalFetish modelling is often about creating a fantasy- the interpretation of the woman as a ‘perfect’ sexualised being. How much do you think your photos relate to reality? Is it all, or only partially, illusion?

SkinWell I always try to be myself when modelling, even if I am playing a character. I still always want to try to portray myself through that character so that whoever looks at the images feels as though they are getting a glimpse of the real me too

OneMetalWhen you aren’t modelling, what do you like to do?

SkinWell I’m also a pole dancer so that takes up a lot of my time when I’m in Scotland, but generally I like having dinner with friends, Girly movie nights in (usually when were all hungover) playing with my baby Pixie, reading…

OneMetalSounds good.

SkinI like doing things like rock climbing, fire spinning, baking…

OneMetalOkay, away from fetish and into flash questions-

SkinSong that gets you dancing…

“This s*** will f*** you up – Combichrist”

OneMetalIf you were to let me buy you a drink, what would it be?

SkinThe crazy raspberry cocktail I had in Paris that I don’t remember the name of. Or a cosmopolitan! (laughs.)

OneMetalFavourite food:

Skin:Mexican

OneMetalSecret geeky behaviours:

SkinI cry easily. Like sad adverts about animal cruelty and dumb chick flicks.

OneMetalAaaw! Favourite book:

SkinTOO HARD!! Haha, I have many favourites…

OneMetalHaha, sorry! You can pick a few…

SkinOk ummmmmm…. (Stops to think…)

Geisha of Gion, A Million Little Pieces, House of Leaves, The Alchemist, The Vampire Chronicles, Harry Potter Series, Vurt, Grimms Fairy Tales, ….

OneMetalOh my gosh! A million little pieces is good!

SkinYes it is! Gross though!

OneMetalHaha! Yes, true. Do you ever play computer games? Whats your favourite?

SkinNope. I’m pretty s*** at them. I get scared and panic! Haha. Soul calibur is fun though- you just press all the buttons as fast as you can! I did go through a world of Warcraft phase, and I was totally addicted to the Sims for a while too

OneMetalBrilliant. Finally, does OneMetal.com rock your socks…?

SkinHells yeah! (grins.) That was probably the funnest interview I’ve done!

Skin(high fives and raised cocktails…)
